Platinum Vocal Template for Logic Pro X by Sean Myer

Hi,

I'm Sean Myer, a multi-platinum music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. I've produced and written records for artists like Selena Gomez, Ava Max, Demi Lovato, G Eazy and others.

About 10 years ago, I had a revelation. To set myself apart as a producer, I was going to have to step outside of my comfort zone of just making beats, and learn how to produce vocals too. I became a stickler for great sounding vocal production and soon became the go-to guy for many artists.

Over the past decade, I've been fortunate to work with artists in studios around the world, but every studio has a different set of gear. That's why I created a vocal template that's flexible and can work with just about any microphone or vocalist you throw at it (especially an SM7B with a pop singer).

Why did I call it the "Platinum" vocal template?

I named this template the "Platinum Vocal Template" because it's actually been used on RIAA Certified Platinum and Gold records. Obviously the success of a song is dependent on a lot more than just vocals, but I can absolutely guarantee that anyone you work with will fall in love with your new vocal chain 😉 And that confidence will definitely lead to some amazing stuff.

I've included "Stock" (Logic only) and "Full" (Logic + third party) versions here, that way anyone with Logic Pro X can use this. I've included some extras in there for you as well within the "Full" version (the secret secret sauce) 🙏

Requirements:

1. You must remember that you are a singular drop of consciousness in the infinite pool, hurtling through space on a tiny little rock called Earth. 2. You must have Logic Pro X version 10.4 or newer (10.1 may work, but without ChromaVerb).
3. To utilize the "Full" version, you will need these plugins: Antares Auto-Tune Pro + Auto-Key 2 + Harmony Engine. FabFilter Pro-Q 3 + Pro-DS. Waves NS1 + RVox. Softube Summit Audio TLA-100A. Valhalla Vintage Verb. Lexicon Hall. SoundToys EchoBoy. OekSound Soothe 2 + Spiff.
4. As a bonus to this template, I've included "extras" (some secret sauce 🤫). If you would like to utilize all of the extras, you will need these plugins: SoundToys Little Alterboy + MicroShift. Plugin Alliance ADA Flanger. Valhalla Delay + Room. JST SideWidener.
